It's getting worse and worse!

If there are no upgrades anymore next year, I'll be the first to stop flying AC completely. As I fly to HKG quite a bit, there'll be quite a bit of other choices other than AC. I don't think that upgradeing posses that big of a problem in terms of revenue such that AC have to totally eliminate them? If AC does eliminate upgrade, I'll assure you that they'll never have a full J cabin on any flights.

I don't think the upgrading at time of res for SE/EP are too crazy... Some people here complain that SE/EP takes all the upgrade seats so people can't buy full fare J, but in reality, there are usually only couple SE/EP on each flights, the most EP there were ever on a flight that I was on was 5 on a YVR-HKG flight... even if they were all upgraded, that only accoounts for 5/42 J seats.

Not to say we don't believe you ACYYZ, but it seems like once in a while you come to inform us about some really outrageous idea that we never though AC would do... is AC management making you test us out or is this another one of those Milton's "you have no choice who you fly, so take whatever we give you".

If all this is trye then come on AC... isn't changing the upgrade policies from any fare last year to restrictive fare enough? DO you really have to take it out entirely? What's the value of holding a elite membership? You fly them 100K+ a year, help Milton pay his employee and of course himself, and the only real benefits is some snacks and drinks prior to your flight?

Then again, Airlines in Asia and UK never allowed upgrades as generous as AC as they are still going pretty well!

However, I still find this possible change unbelievable...
