geo1004, per usual has enlightened me. I have decided to take my name off of the ballot. The threats and emails are resounding and I am letting my head make this decision rather than my heart to Save InnPoints.

On a side note, I must admit that I am not bowing out due to the competition but rather b/c I found out that the President of the Save InnPoints campaign doesn't get any interns!
