I just finished a 3 night FFN stay at the GHT to celebrate Mrs. Pickles' birthday. I made the reservations about 10 days in advance, and it was already a rescheduling for FFNs for the week prior, but business interfered. So, I was effectively able to make FFN reservations at the GHT for two preferred dates with short notice.

Wanted the PHT, but did not mind settling for the GHT. As a matter of fact, the only complaint I had about the GHT (besides the smallish rooms) was that they wouldn't buy NEX tickets for me and charge them to my room. This time, they did without me asking, so, in my book, both hotels are neck and neck for my custom.

I still have 4 nights left, which I will probably use at the GH Seoul on business (street price about $1,000 USD), not bill the client for expenses on that trip, and instead bill the client on the back-end for the difference between a DONE3 and an AONE3 RTW for a trip I have to take on their behalf. Sounds like a fair trade to me (and to them).

By the way, had dinner at the Atelier de Joel Robouchon restaurant at the Roppongi Hills complex. It was excellent.
