I did manage a call in to the ICC just before they closed. The best they could come up with was an overnight stop at YYZ putting me on the dayflight the next morning into LHR...in economy...with me picking up the tab for the hotel

YYZ isn't that important but at the time of booking it offered the best connection time and a decent J product across the pond for the overnight flight.

I'm just looking for an alternative one-stop itinerary, doesn't need to involve AC or YYZ. I could as easily transfer on UA through ORD or IAD, or on US through PHL, if only there were award flights.
I'm not looking to change the laws of physics, just get me from Point A to Point C with enough time at B to change aircraft!
Is getting this re-ticketed into revenue inventory out of the question?
