If you can do this, and your goal was only to book award stays at hilton hotels (possibly one big stay a year)would it be better to use the SPG for everday spending, and transfer 20,000 spg -> AA -> 50k HHonors when you get them, and get an additional HHonors surpass that you use only for booking with hilton hotels? That way you can spend 20k a year on spg, transfer it for 50k hilton points, and accumulate whatever hilton points you could on stays with the surpass card?
EDIT - Upon further reading it looks like you would earn more by just spending on the HHonors card. My mistake.
