There is some confusion here. Was the flight cancelled by SQ (i.e. the plane won't run at all) or is it just the reservation that was cancelled (i.e. BD didn't pay SQ for the flight within 24 hours)? This might affect your negotiating position.
All flights are still operatioanl by SQ.
Flight was booked in July, no communication of any cancellation by BMI
