Have a brand new FB Gold card this year (transferred over from NW WP USA when I relocated to HAM) which I have used a total of once for lounge access only.

I'll have a couple more flights (HAM-AMS-SIN) today.. but no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to find a good enough reason to keep flying on Skyteam to retain any status with FB. Today's flights are my 3rd and 4th flight of the year! But in V class which means I only get 25% mileage.

KL/AF flights have horrendously high fuel surcharges on almost every longhaul flight. I've only flown longhaul with KL and not with AF. But even so, the blue on KLM just irritates me. The uniform is just plain ugly no matter what they do with it cos of the bright blue. Why can't KLM tone it down or darken the shade a little so that it doesn't scream BLUE. The colour just irks me.
