Although we were waiting by the CCR entrance for 20 minutes, I over egged what happened a lot - think Saturday night comedy with a bit of drink at the time I posted, with a good measure of a sensationalist tabloid story. My son did say "no, not first", but that was about it and I think he was saying it in relation to the guy not being the first one there... Or at least that is what we all (BA guy, me and the smartly dressed guy thought he said).

I was hoping I'd left enough clues, but got a little concerned it was going to go +999 when I returned to have a look The 18 month old was the main clue, which you picked up on ElkeNorEast - but the guy arguing with an 18 month old, or an 18 month old interupting was another. But for good measure he had to be wearing yacht club attire - he was just smartly dressed, no yacht club blazer).

Still, it was funny to read the responses. .

EGW1 and ElkeNorEast for spotting it was (mostly) a wind up. I particularly liked EGW1's reference to my child coming second in future - an angle I'd not thought of :-:^:-:^
elitetraveler - Good to hear your yacht is parked for the season. Rest assured there wasn't obnoxious behaviour from anyone - it was just quite funny. I think it made the BA guy's day. Is there valet yacht parking at LHR T5 and if so, how much does BAA charge
xxxxx - I guess you see the yacht club types at LHR T5 all the time
Andriyko - I won't be taking my son in F (or travelling longhaul with him for quite a while). He is just over 2, so is starting to get tantrums. I do understand peoples objections to babies/infants/children in F.

travelinfoo - Well I can't possibly confirm or deny that until the date and flight number are posted. At which point I will consult my extensive records to double check

Plus I got a PM from another FTer who said it was really funny, but was afraid to post in case it turned into a babies or infant in F repeat thread

So, hopefully this sets the record straight and people accept my original post in the good humour for which it was intended....
