this benefit isn't really all that useful. it's mostly Y/B full fare coach fares that u can upgrade and most partners are quite stingy on releasing upgrade inventory, so in the end, it's a benefit on paper.
extra luggage allowance for mid/top tier elites and premium pax would be nice. I think AA has an unwritten rule where agents can waive extra/heavy bag fees for pax on premium paid tickets. I think UA's is 3 bags @ 70 lbs each for 1P and up (equiv to AA plat and up) and 2 bags @ 70lbs each for intl business and first.
one extra thing i'd like to see is an option to redeem RDMs for EQMs, but make it quite steep (like say 10 RDMs for 1 EQM). I think UA's chase visa card allows this, but only with miles earned from the card. Making it steep will stop ppl from relying on this method to earn status, and it'll be helpful for ppl who are just short of an elite tier, like less than 1000 EQMs or so. A program like this will help AA get RDMs off the books and let ppl make status who are just short. There should be no cap to this, so if someone really wants to burn 1,000,000 RDMs for exp for a year without flying, let him.
I want to see a lifetime EXP benefit, like at 8 million miles or so, or a lifetime admirals club membership at 4mm, and maybe a lifetime flagship lounge pass at 10mm.
