I wonder if it would be useful to see how the WiFi has been performing by collecting some stats directly from users as they are actually on the WiFi (not a post-trip report about it).

Would be interesting to see the kinds of performance. Allow me to start:

FlightAware.com Location: Somewhere around Martinsburg, WV
www.speedtest.net report: 2.17Mbps download, less than .4 Mbps upload

Not so bad for basic web. I can see why any kind of voice or video wouldn't work (yes, I know it's supposedly blocked anyway but a VPN connection can overcome that if it weren't for the slow speed).
