Sorry if I got a few terms mixed up. When I stay at Hyatts, they are usually due to a bonus incentive.

The recent examples are a promotion in which you would earn 500 base FF miles and the "bonus" is either 1500 or 2000 miles depending on the promotion.

I always get the "base" mile rather fast, but as I indicated earlier, I never get the "bonus" miles. I really do mean never, it has NEVER happened without a minimum 3-4 month wait and requests.

The frustration is that they show in my GP account detail, but do not post to airline program.

This is definately a Hyatt issue. I have tried transfering to CO, NW and AA FF programs - none work. I always indicate the appropriate booking code at reservation and upon check-in as well as present my FF card upon arrival to be certain that it is on file.

All in all, this is Hilton (Diamond) and Starwood's (Platinum) gain. It is far too time consuming to stay at Hyatt's when I can get all the amenities at other properties and the base/bonus miles post without delay.

stay for the 14th - Why stress on vacation, will be at the Westin instead.

Nice properties - Just poor follow through!
