IIRC, not so long ago, there was the idea of BD picking up some of UA's LHR schedule, i.e one daily IAD and ORD rotation. The idea was that it would release UA aircraft to service other, more profitable routes across the Pacific, whilst maintaining slots at LHR. Of course all that has changed over the last 12 months.
