I'm fairly new to this site. I would like to know, when someone post a clear, concise, correct, reply/answer, why isn't the thread then closed and put in the archives or search/reference feature?
I can think of a couple reasons:

* Sometimes the clear, concise, 'correct' answer actually isn't correct.
* Sometimes someone else has something interesting to add
