Thank you. Its now $2 per wash and $2 per dryer . Inflation I guess. Dont even try making phone calls here from your room unless you want to pay through the nose .... $2.00 for toll free calls and other various charges for other call types . Yet the Sheraton Park hotel in Anaheim manages to allow you to have toll free calls FREE (as they should be)!

I was lucky enough to get a small upgrade, from my paid Ocean Front, they kindly gave me Deluxe Ocean Front - fantastic view of Diamond Head and Waikiki beach ^. But this is the only difference between Deluxe and normal Ocean front rooms according to front desk staff - the view is better. The rooms are quite small actually (240 sq ft), but are nicely appointed. This property is still undergoing renovations and you can not arrive at the front of the hotel, but have to go to the back (at Sheraton bus terminal entrance) then have quite a walk to get to the lobby.

The new pool is fantastic :-:. My daughter loved it, so much to do there with the water slides and I loved the pool chairs that sit in about 2 inches of water on a ledge on the pool. Around the corner there is the Serenity pool which is pure heaven for adults WITHOUT kids. Quiet, free cold water, free DVD players to use while there, and the pool itself has been built to look like its in the ocean....very clever. Only issue is getting a free pool chair here. Its where all the adults hide out .

This hotel doesnt staff the SPG gold/plat line regularly and when we arrived, the checkin/out line was extremely long . I have been to the front desk at least 5 times now at all different times day and night, and I am yet to see that desk staffed. This is something they need to work on IMHO. Otherwise, they treat SPG elites very well. I was given a VIP room key and an info sheet that offered me several nice deals while staying there, including FREE in room internet access, and discounts on food at certain restaurants in the hotel. That was a very nice surprise that I was not expecting ^.

Not sure what is going on with Sheraton, I have stayed in 4 in the past month, and there is NO shower gel provided anymore . I think this is taking cost cutting to an extreme. I have to phone up and request it. Come on, is it really that expensive? I did expect to have some sort of amenity kit at Sheraton Waikiki, but alas, same as all the other USA Sheratons, only shampoo and conditioner provided and if you are lucky you might get a body lotion.

However, we love it here and would definitely come back if the price was right.
