I have stayed at both these hotels numerous times, including the Stanhope on the night of the blackout!

The Grand Hyatt is just so disappointing. I can't tell you how "grungy" the rooms are, with stains on carpets, etc.

I was even surprised to see that the bathroom amenities for the Regency Club floor only included shampoo and conditioner, no lotion or anything else.

The fruit plate that came with Diamond amenity was also very parse.

It seemed liek theyr are/were cutting back on everything.

Seperately, now that you are here...is there any way you can help me with a SuperBowl hotel reservation at the Houston Hyatt Regency (otherwise blocked off by the NFL)?
