Of the Hyatts I've stayed in, the Grand Hyatt New York and Hyatt Rickey's (Palo Alto) have to be the worst. The Hyatt Rickey's is just holding on until the property can be redeveloped, which is a political process. The Grand Hyatt NYC is just a plain dump. Horrible hallway lighting, metal room doors that have serious dents, dark irregular rooms. I tried it twice-- that's it.

Hyatt just has to get rid of these marginal properties. They need to have a consistent product that guests can count on.
