Understand that TG flies ex-KTM - might be the way to go...not that I want to deprive 9w of the revenue though!

9w also appears to code-share with MH, for a long stopover at DEL with the morning flight - about 12 hours...and another of about 6-7 hours only.

Your comment regarding transiting at SIN when flying SilkAir might be valid also - a much smoother connection than transiting 2 Indian airports!!
