JIMCHI: There are a limited number of rooms overlooking 5th avenue and the Met (there are more which overlook 81st St and you can see the Met from those as well but not directly). They offered me a choice of two standard rooms overlooking 5th or the junior suite/room combo in the NW corner of the hotel (514/515). I took the latter and our rooms were extremely quiet with a pleasant view of an interior courtyard. The climate control was slightly on the noisy side according to my family, but I can generally sleep through anything so I didn't really notice.
