Thanks for the detailed info on how to get to Hyatt Osaka.

We are not going directly down from Hakkaido to Osaka. We have a break in Tokyo for a night before heading down again.

Though i just read a trip report of 2 couples who did take the Night train from Sapporo all the way to Tokyo and then switched train to Osaka, non-stop. That is a bit too much to me.

The days we will be at Hyatt Osaka are Monday and Tuesday. I hope they are less busy than weekend days. The room rate is cheaper so I assume their busy time is weekend (for Universal Studio and other entertainment places nearby).
