This is probably true for the corporate world, but I was watching a TV programming that talked about how little the luxury travel market has been affected by the economic downturn (I was actually surprised to hear that). They were saying the really well-off travelers don't really care about the cost since whatever is lost in the market is only a very small portion. However, with the downturn, they actually get more time to vacation instead of "being tied down to work." Go figure!
