A co-worker in our SEA office just emailed me ...
He got double-credited with miles for a recent R/T - each flight appeared twice on his account, with corresponding EQMs added to his total. A day after the erroneous double-credit, there was a correction under the entry "SPECIAL SERVICES DUPLICATE FLIGHT ACTIVITY CORRECTION" with a deduction from the account cancelling the extra miles.
However, his EQM balance is still reflecting the erroneous credit. This puts him in a quandry - he was tight for MVPG requal, and was even considering doing an MR (having called me crazy for years for my MRing - seems I put the idea in his head) over the holiday to keep Gold. However, if the erroneous EQMs stick, he won't need to.
If it was me, I'd do the MR - would not be willing to risk them disappearing later; but then I'm an FTer, and he's the one who thinks MRs are crazy
So anyhow, polling the collective wisdom of the AS board - if the extra EQMs don't disappear after a few weeks, how safe is he ?
