Last week I flew from Phoenix to Calgary. I am a Gold Dividends Member, so I thought this would allow me to access the Club Room in Phoenix before my flight. The lady at the front door to the club said "technically, you must be flying TRANSATLANTIC international to use the club room, but I'll let you in."
It doesn't surprise me based upon my experiences at PHX. There is a lack of training, follow-up training and etc. at PHX.
On UA, I have flown to Winnipeg through ORD and have used the Red Carpet Lounge at PHX and ORD without problems.
On US Airways, I have used the Maple Leaf Lounge at YVR several times without problems during the past two to three years.
