When I stayed there three weeks ago, using my wireless card resulted in being direct to their signup page asking for my creditcard number. I don't know when you stayed. But I guess like the policy change in airport Hyatt, they had started charging.
I think the standard rooms are fine except for the small rest room. And small TV, if people care about it.
I didn't realized one can ask for pass to Gym. I may try it next time. Do you remember which one it is?
