Oh- I wish I had seen this two days ago. I just came back from this hotel- in all my years this is the WORST Hyatt. I just came in tonight (stayed 1 night Thurs 8/14) to look for any threads on this hotel and to tag my horrid stay on.

Think Motel 6, a 2 story series of bldgs exterior noise everywhere (I had a "quiet" courtyard room and could hear every noise). My room (10pm checkin -diamond and hotel was empty) was awful- small, mildue and trash. Bed was horrid (worse then I can describe except to say I was looking for the 25 cent vibrator thing). I got bites from bugs in the room (yup actually saw them after I was bitten). The desk phone did not work (frayed cord--used my computer cord to make it work for the AM wake up call). called to try to change rooms and was told --sorry we are full (not possible). the A/c is an in wall unit and had an awful knock in it.

The TILE (think 1960's small tiles) in the bathroom and ENTRY were dirty and horrible. The finishes were all scratched. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. Stay downtown at the other Hyatt or across the street at the Doubletree. This hotel makes Hampton Inn look like a 5 star.

No Diamond Amenity offered (the least of my concerns), when asked I was told it was too late.

I wish I had my digital camera and I would be sending email to Hyatt with pictures (bugs and bites included). This hotel is simply horrible- I have stayed across town and it is fine but I had a 6AM flight and thought to try this.

Not worth the half FFN it got me. I would rate this hotel as a 1 star hotel nothing more and structurally no way for Hyatt to change it.

NEVER STAY HERE. There is nothing Hyatt can do to make this a Hyatt. It just should not have the brand on it.

I too rarely have this much bad to say but wow was I disappointed and surprised that this could be a Hyatt. As I said at the begininng I only wish this thread had been out a few days earlier (and of course that I saw it).
