The Disney Visa is not worth it for general everyday spending, as it amounts to 1% Disney credit (1 point per dollar).
But periodically they offer 5 points per dollar for a specific month's spending, with a limit. That is worth doing.
There are various 10% discount offers that could be of use, like at
www.disneyshopping.com or
www.disneyoutlet.com. Or you might get free shipping. Some discounts at restaurants near Disneyworld. A free character photo at Disneyworld.
You also get 6-month-same-as-cash for spending on a Disney package or buying DVC timeshare points. This might be worth something.
Chase regularly sends me checks to use, up to my Disney CC limit, with the principal not to be repaid for 6-9 months, 0% interest. In the old days, with a $75 max fee, that worked out fine. Now it's a 3% fee, so not so fine.
Since it's free, why not? When you aren't using it, keep it in your sock drawer.
