How does Faux Diamond Sound?

Just crossed 133,000 MQMs for 2009.
I've spent $2,900 (after VDB vouchers) this year + AmEx Reserve with Delta for these MQMs.
Only flew 15 PAID segments.

Flying for those 15 segments netted me 160,000+ SkyMiles Frequent Flyer Miles and bonus Miles. I've earned tons of additional miles 100,000+ from the credit card and a 100,000+ bonus miles from the generous SPG point conversion non-advertised promotion.

Flying: So, I spent around $2900. Received Travel Credits worth $1,600.00 at $.01 per mile redemption.... and Now am Diamond for 2010 .... with an 8K MQM kicker + AmEx Reserve Threshold MQM Bonuses to make Faux something next year.

Non flying: $450 AmEx Reserve Card paid off: 100,000+ miles... Worth $1,000 in free travel at $.01 per mile. And the generous gift for the SPG promotion netted a $1,000 worth of bonus free travel at $.01 per mile.

And you know... my rewards average far more than $.01 per mile in value!

And it's only October!

If there are a few folks paying attention to Delta's and Amex's generocity... there should be plenty of Faux Bling to go around!

And by the way... I owe much to the members of Flyertalk! As I would not have been able to take advantage of these promotions without the contributions of this great community of like minded enthusiasts!
