Period.

A young but fit looking lady on a QF flight to SIN asked me to help her lifting up her carry on into the overhead. I was astonished as I boarded late and inquired if the other gentlemen did not help her.

She grinned saying that two have tried but failed. I gave it a serious attempt and barely made it ... the thing was well in excess of 60lb. I asked the FA who was watching if it was ok to haul that brick into the bin and she said that it is just fine as they all were friends....

It is strictly enforced unless you are a member of the friends&family club, a celebrity, or very pretty... QF as usual.
