I did RDU-BOS-SFO r/p MR to achieve GO status last year, I enjoyed much of its privilege this year, my status helped me secured a lot of upgrades.
This year I will be ~3000 miles short of the 30000 milestone. I can alway do MR again but just wondering, according to recent MPC practices, will I be considered a silver member even if I don't do MR? or they will do GO straight to green?
The practice with MPO is down downgrade one tier if you don't renew or achieve XXX status in your membership year. Therefore, you should be going to Silver even if you have not flown the 30K miles. But....you should call MPO to confirm.
