I suspect that the Europeans, at least, think the same thing they think about their own airlines - they get me were I'm going. Even in Asia, folks seem happy enough to take the likes of jetstar without complaints.
About to board a DL flight right now. Jammed to the gills it seems. Pretty much all swedes and Danes. They don't seem overly concerned about DL's service standards. Then again, when the comparison is SK...
I think that Americans tend to overestimate the service standards on many of the foreign carriers. Though I guess European Lounges are better, but then again European J is so bad they have to give you something.
