I picked up a power strip in Thailand that's even better: US-style NEMA plug on the cord (which they use in Thailand) and four universal outlets (the kind that accepts any kind of power plug). It's rated for 240v, since that's what they use in Thailand.

I found the universal outlets very convenient, because not only could I plug my US electronics into it, but I could also unplug (if needed) a lamp or something from an outlet (if there were no empty ones available) and then plug it back into the strip--especially useful in Australia, where they don't use NEMA plugs.

I was going to say that the only suggestion I had for you is to pick one of these up next time you're in BKK (though I actually got mine in CNX), but it looks like this site carries some products that may interest you (i.e. this one, for example).
