UA#274 SFO-ORD on 10/31 went <poof>

This is a weird one. Trying to book SFO-MSN rt flying out on the red-eye Saturday evening. Earlier today, no problem. Went to book it tonight, and UA#274 disappeared on me! It wouldn't show up no matter how I tried to search for it, including one-way, r/t, multicity.

I went to orbitz and can get it to show up, but only as a United flight on a USAir number (which does or does not get me DEQMs? Still UA metal... assuming the flight exists...)

Seatcounter says it's wide-open, as did the earlier seatmap. I did finally get it to show on multicity after a few more manipulations, but only with an X saying it doesn't have the required number of seats available. And yes, I did go back and make sure I selected "2" passengers and not "222".

Any ideas what's going on here? Is it safe to book it as a USAir flight and still get (for sure) the DEQMs?

Thanks-
