I had a stay at the Cincinnati Hyatt on a AAA rate of $80 and paid for part of the stay with $75 in Gift Certificates which the front desk had no idea how to handle. Remaining balance was paid with my Mastercard for FFN.

Since stay hasn't posted 3 weeks later, I called Hyatt Customer Service. They gave me the FFN credit but would not give me stay credit or points associated with the stay saying it was a discounted rate with no other incidentals. I guess lesson here is perhaps to avoid all this hassle and make a phone call on any rate. But this was booked directly on hyatt.com.

I've e-mailed Julia. Hopefully she'll be able to sort this out for me.
