I don't think there is any surprise in all of this. Technically, Cdn+ no longer exists after December 31st, and these stickers were issued by that FF program. The current stickers are a legitimate bridge for the two months we Cdn+ elites are technically in limbo. While I know it sounds unfair, remember that we Cdn+ elites have been able to do what AC elites have not, upgrade from ultra-discounted fares in North America, and with the Blacks, upgrade on any route flying CP metal. I think this has been a pretty good deal considering it has in effect doubled our domestic points and made it possible for many to achieve renewed G and EP levels with up to 50% fewer miles travelled than would otherwise be the case.

And while I have been among those complaining about our not getting 125% as AC elites have for such upgrading, access to upgrades at the lowest fares -- not to mention being able to fly in the front cabin both ways across the Pacific -- has been more than generous. (Maybe it was Kevin Benson's "golden parachute" to us Cdn+ elites, making those old stickers valid for 2-years.)

I don't think you will get anywhere with emails or letters. It's only two months and we've seen the writing on the wall. Maybe you might want to consider a class action suit. Itworked with Amex and CP/AC. But time is running out. Technically, I don't think AC needs to even redeem our new upgrades between January 1st and February 28th, 2001. Nor for that matter convert our Cdn+ points to Aeroplan miles. (How many of use took out "miles insurance" with Randy in case CP went belly up?)

Next shoe to drop will be to see if lifetime miles/points are comingled. Stay tuned!
