I suppose I might use a Hyatt affinity card sometimes instead of the United one I use. I would certainly apply for one if there was no annual fee. But I think the affinity cards are overated. Sure. you should use them, but you can only use one affinity card at a time for a purchase. So I am collecting airline miles instead of hotel points. In fact, at this point, the airline miles are more valuable to me.
