@KiwiFlyer: is this routing with Air Newzealand? Is it still a 3-region-award? I´m not sure if I do FRA-LAC-AKL-HNL?! I can see a LH-code-share FRA-HKG-AKL & will have to check the last leg to HNL via callcenter. Why did you recommend the LHR version? Better plane than from Germany?

@DownUnderFlyer: thx for the ideas! I´m lucky this time because i´m very flexible with the dates & if I find a nice city for a stopover I´ll stop there for some days. The capacity from Germany to the US or Asia is pretty nice in C due to the crisis I think. The problem is the leg from the US or from Asia to HNL and for that the more options the better (within the 3-region-award).
