It's interesting that you should say this. I must have been there on a bad night. Upon check-in, I asked about the Diamond Amenity, since I wasn't presented with a card. I was told that the Executive Chef likes to create unique and special treats for Diamond guests, and something special would be delivered to my room.

I, too got a deli tray, but it must have been something very different from yours. I checked in a 12:30p, then left around 1:30p for an afternoon meeting and a client dinner. I returned a little after 8:00pm to find a tray that had been sitting in my room for several hours (brie, pepper jack, salami and proscuitto, with a litle sliced pineapple and some grapes). I called to see if someting was missing (crackers or something to drink) and was told that was it. They suggested that I go to the lounge for a drink, or order room service. So I went to the lounge and found out that it closed at 8:00pm.

Not to seem ungrateful, but I wish the front desk clerk hadn't set my expectations so high. Breakfast in the lounge the next morning was great, and the RC was quite nice.
