The Secure Message Centre is a good idea but not when they set an expectation of a response within 24 hours and 60 hours on they still haven't delivered...not even so much as a holding statement. Poor show yet again.
My experience has been the opposite. The last two messages I sent received responses about 10 hours later.
Me: sent 5:18am
Them: replied 3:50pm
Me: sent 2:33am
Them: replied 11:34am
My previous correspondences with them have been similar.
Amtrak still holds the record for the best (IMHO) email-based customer service. I often get detailed, human-written (i.e. no form letters and no ICCs using stilted English) replies within 30 minutes. That's how all companies should be.
