If I book in C do I get into F or in Y on the LA-Hawai-leg?
Is the United F nice or not really to recommend?

AFAIK you get booked into domestic F on a 2 class cabin configuation when you have an international C award ticket.

UAīs domestic F isnīt anythging special IMO, but it might be convenient having everything on one ticket (avoiding luggage fees if you chose Y, problems with delayed flights etc.)
