I'm looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat and have a drink with friends before the U2 concert at BC Place in a few weeks - any recommendations of stuff close by / walking distance from the stadium?

I was thinking about a place called The Greedy Pig in Gastown - anyone been there? http://thegreedypig.ca/

Or have other recommendations of stuff in the area? I've heard gastown can be pretty bad (its been ages since I've been down there) - how is the walk from there to the stadium?
