Pakistani Travelling through Sao Paulo (GRU)

Hi everyone,

I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything related to my issue:

I am a Pakistani, travelling on Pakistani Passport and I am going from Lahore Pakistan (LHE) to Port-au-prince, Haiti (PAP). My route is:

Lahore(LHE)-->Dubai(DXB)-->Sao Paulo (GRU)-->Panama City (PTY)-->Port-au-Prince (PAP).

From LHE till GRU it is Emirates and from GRU till PAP it is Copa Airlines.

The choice of this particular route is due to the fact that I don't need a visa for any of these countries I am passing through. The only exception was Brazil, which required me to carry a letter, allowing me to transit through GRU for a max period of 24 hours.

My question is that can my luggage be checked through from LHE till PAP?
If yes, then this saves me a lot of trouble. Because I don't think that they are going to allow me to collect my luggage at GRU and re-book it on Copa, provided that I don't have a Brazilian visa.

The ticket has been issued by a travel agent in Port-au-Prince and is against a single PNR number.

Please clarify if somebody has any experience with this or has flown this route. Thanks.
