My comment wasn't meant to say that the info couldn't have been found with a little time searching - it was more directed at - How would a newbie know to search on the words "fly9"? - as I felt that post was suggesting.
Agree with you on that particular post. I wouldn't think of searching by fly9 either.
However, using plain English often can do the job to find what one's looking for. Unfortunately, too many people dont even want to put in such efforts, but expect others to provide the ready answers / and links.
True, it takes about the same effort and time to post an answer / link versus posting comments to tell newbies or lazy persons to use search function - I think the attitude to blame people not posting link but ask the requester to use search function is WRONG. Why would the info-seekers expect others to do their jobs? In many cases, one has to do a search FIRST, in order to post the proper link. Why cant the requester do the same? On top of that, the same topic Q&As being posted again and again, and just cluster the thread.
