After all the noise I thought I would try the Kowloon Regency to see if anything had changed since my last visit.

The check in was quick, I was given an upgraded room as part of the Diamond status.

The room is looking a bit tired and doesn't match the GH on the island for views or ambience of course.
But guess what?. It was HALF the price. HK888 via the net.

I guess you get what you pay for , in my case it was friendly, effecient service. I got my power adapter quickly, the checkout was extended to 6 pm and the breakfast was passable.

The BEST thing imho was the pass to the local gym which was hugeand very modern . That - and the price- alone will probably have me back again soon.
