There is a communication/confusion problem with the front lines at Hyatt reservations on this issue.
Have seen quite a few letters come in at both travel publications I contribute to.
The problem is not limited to Hyatt by any means
My suggestion and what I say to those having the problem is to call the hotels in house reservation dept or the front desk of the property and have them put on your Gold Passport #
This usually will solve the problem without any further concerns.
Hyatt has a stong reputation of taking care of ALL guests no matter how the room is paid for.
