Just faxed DL a request for status match from UA - they gave me Silver Med., down from the level where I was on UA, but can't complain.

They didn't send any notification though, even though I gave return fax, email, phone, etc - I had to book some tickets to Heathrow and kinda went "Oh, I guess Delta never got back to me, so I'll go United"... but just on whimsy checked my Skymiles account and -hey!- my status changed... I assume I'll get a card in the mail one of these days though, so possibly a moot quibble with my new favorite airline...

A heads-up would be good, but I caught it in time to book on DL.
