I had a good experience with seat selection on AF recently and wanted to share and compare with others. Has the DL/AF link been improved?

I booked a r/t this week on DL.com
Ticket was issued by DL (006) outbound DL, return was a DL codeshare on AF metal.

DL.com seat selection tool gave seat maps for both flights and accepted me into elite/preferred seats on BOTH flights.

I then went over to airfrance.com (US site) and looked up my itin and there it was - confirmed.

Anyone else notice this?

I should add that finding the Itin on AF was a pain. First search by PNR failed, then by ticket number (006...etc # that is on the confirmation email) failed too.

Apparently the DL ticket number has one digit too many (I've been told this is a check digit). I deleted the last digit of the ticket number and voila!
