I often ship liquids ahead of time. The U.S. Post office flat-rate priority mail box is convenient, usually arrives in two days, and you can create a label and pay for it on-line, then just drop it off. A small box is under $5, a medium box under $10. For international shipments, it's usually much cheaper than commercial carriers but may take a week or so.

Also, you're permitted to bring "reasonable quantities" of prescription and over-the-counter medications, but it's a bit of a hassle since you have to declare them to the screener and often need to explain that, yes, it's OK, and sometimes they want to swab or do other tests on containers larger than 3oz.
