The nicest room there would be a view room either of Diamond Head or ocean view. But in any event all the rooms have nice balconies. The rooms are not huge, but they will take good care of you as a Diamond member including very nice welcome ammenity and RC floor room or RC access. The RC is one of the best in the system. Probably the best place to be is on a high RC floor in the tower with the RC .. the one closer to Diamond Head.
I've heard that the Mandarin Oriental is very nice, but I've never stayed there.

The room we received as Diamonds was a deluxe ocean view, which was huge.
They have the best RC in NA I have seen so far.
We did not like the rooftop jacuzzi too much.
But a real nice hotel !
