I saw a lot of similar reports in some of Japanese BBS since last week.
It seems SM has given Gold to most of Silver members and Plat to Gold members at least until Feb 2010 in Asia-Pacific.

I guess it might be a compensation as we Asian Medallion/Elite members didn't get nice EQM present in this summer. But I, as a current Plat member, got nothing...
