Yep, but it was always done horizontally. What Isakander invented in Turkey, was mounting the meat vertically.
The other thing about the remaining Isakander restaurants in Turkey is the supreme quality of the Bursa meat. I have never had a Kebap anywhere in the world as good as at this place.
