I don't normally fly enough qualifying flights in a year to achieve elite status on any particular airline--however, I've just booked a trip to China to visit a friend which should net me about 17,500 MQM on Delta. This, combined with the 4600 other MQM I have this year means I'm only about 2,900 MQM miles short of getting Silver status on Delta for the first time.

I live in the middle of Alabama, which means I'm not close to any real airports, but within a few hours' drive of ATL, BHM, MGM, PNS, and TLH. Huntsville/Chatanooga are too far.

There's nowhere I need to go, although there are people in NYC, Denver, or SoCal that I would like to visit if possible. Or, I could just spend a weekend day flying all over the place if the price is right. I can't really travel during the week.
